Just off the press Outlaw Offroad signs Casey Currie for a title sponsor for the 2010 king of the hammers. Casey Currie who has perversity finished 2nd the last two years at the hammers will once again try to bring home the a 1st place in 2010. In a pre race interview Casey was quite confident in his rock race buggy ability to be a top contender. Outlaw Offroad has great confidence in Casey’s ability to bring home a win with our name on it.
Johnny Greaves sets a World Record by jumping a TORC PRO 2WD Truck 301 feet. “He made, you know? As he always does. He made it look good. He made it look easy. But that jump was frickin’ huge. I’m sure driving towards that jump at 105 miles per hour it looked like a toothpick. 2010: Year of the Barge Jump. Travis Pastrana plans to attempt record jump on New Year's Eve. This is a distance jump. It is man against a mark. 171-feet is the recognized line to make. Travis has already set the landing ramp far beyond that. He's thinking 240, 250 perhaps even the unthinkable 300. You won't hear a splash, but you will hear plenty of ahhhs.
